Phase 1 – Basic Security Guard Card
In order to be in compliance with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Service (BSIS), a student must
successfully pass Phase 1, Guard Card Class. After the student has successfully passed phase 1, all the necessary
paperwork will be sent to BSIS from Nanpor. The application and live scan fingerprints will be electronically submitted
guard card in the mail once the student has been cleared and approved through BSIS..
Phase 2 – Continued education
Phase 2 Training: 8 hours must be completed within 30 days of the student getting approved through the Bureau
of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), a division of the Consumer Affairs Department.
The remaining 8 hours must be completed within 180 days of receiving the guard card.
Phase 3 – Continued Education
Phase 3 Training: 8 hours of Elective Courses must be completed within 30 days of the student getting approved
completed within 180 days of receiving the guard card. Phase 3 allows the student to choose classes to specialize in
either armed security, unarmed security or executive and personal protection security.
