CCW 8 Hour Blended Training Course
 
 
Complete the instructional portion of your California CCW renewal training online, then schedule a separate in-person appointment with NANPOR to complete your required firearm handling, qualification and exam. Once you have booked the online training course, NANPOR will send you a link and an access code to the online training portal.
 
The online course covers:
California laws governing concealed carry
Laws and standards regarding the use of deadly force
Avoidance of deadly force and de-escalation
Civil and criminal liability
Firearm maintenance
The four basic firearm safety rules
Range and home firearm safety
Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship
Safe weapon handling, presentation, and holstering
 
After completing the online training, you must schedule an in-person firearms qualification and bring every firearm you want listed on your CCW permit. During the qualification appointment, you will demonstrate safe firearm handling and complete the required course of fire with each weapon.
 
This online 8-hour course is intended for applicants renewing an existing CCW permit.
 
Important Qualification Instructions
Bring every firearm you want listed on your permit.
All firearms must be unloaded upon arrival.
Do not bring a loaded firearm into the facility.
Bring the correct ammunition for each firearm unless purchasing ammunition through Shore Shot.
Your qualification appointment must be scheduled separately after completing the online coursework.
