Guard Card Course w/Livescan & State Fee
The first 4 hours of class training will be the Powers to Arrest. Subject matter will include the role and responsibilities of the security officer, relationship with the local police, inspections, legal liabilities, arrestable offenses, private persons arrest, making an arrest, searching the suspect, merchant privilege search, terrorism, ethics and professional conduct of the security officer. The second 4 hours of class training will be Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism Awareness. Subjects will include the role of the security officer in preventing an incident, the nature of terrorism, weapons of mass destruction and coordination of critical information.

Price includes State processing Fee and Live Scan Fee for background check required to receive Guard Card.
Phase II Mandantory Training (Required within 30 days of online issue date)
Phase III Elective Training (Required within 6 months of guard card issue date)

    Upon completion of the above training you will receive a certificate of completion. A temporary guard card will be available online at the BSIS website before your permanent card is received in the mail.
